For the comfort and safety of all passengers, Sibiu International Airport allows smoking in two specially designated areas inside the restricted area of the passenger terminal, located in the restricted area of the passenger terminal, after security control, namely: in the area dedicated to departures to Schengen destinations and in the area dedicated to departures to non-Schengen destinations.
Smoking areas are also set up in the public area of the outdoor passenger terminal at each entrance to the terminal.
Smoking of classic cigarettes is only permitted in these designated areas.
Smoking any type of tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, vape or other vaping devices, is strictly prohibited in any other area of the airport. They have the same policy (see policy here) and treatment as traditional cigarettes and may only be used in designated smoking areas.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in legal sanctions under the legislation on health protection in enclosed public places.
