If so, your experience is "in the final stages"! Registration is based on a prior request sent to the email address [email protected]. Please send us your registration request, in which you assume full responsibility for supervising the students during their time at the airport, along with a list of names of the “airport friends” (from youngest to oldest: students and accompanying adults).
The guided tours of Sibiu International Airport organized as part of the “A Different Kind of Airport Tour!” program are primarily aimed at elementary and middle school students, in conjunction with the national “A Different Kind of School” and “Green Week” programs being implemented in schools.
When are we going to meet?
Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., subject to availability.
Where?
The fun starts at check-in.
We’ll set aside about two hours—and the time will fly by!!!
Airport Presentation
Arriving late for a flight is not recommended and may result in the cancellation of your visit.
The scheduled date and time of your visit must be STRICTLY adhered to.
What we will do?
We’ll tour the passenger terminal, including the check-in areas, security checkpoints, and the passenger boarding area. Our favorite part is the air operations area: if we’re lucky, we’ll get to watch an aircraft land or take off, provided the visit time coincides with the flight schedule, and... we’ll all ride comfortably on a bus to the airport equipment area. P.S. Please note that the itinerary presented is subject to change during the visit for safety or operational reasons.
Beautiful memories captured on video and in photos?
YEEEEES, filming and photography are permitted, except in areas surrounding access control points and security checkpoints.

Required documents
To gain access, adult chaperones must present a valid original form of identification at the start of their visit to the airport. Otherwise, Sibiu International Airport reserves the right to cancel their participation in the program.

SECURITY AND SAFETY RULES
Participants are required to follow the instructions of Sibiu International Airport staff and to comply with airport security regulations and related checks.
The same restrictions apply during the program as when boarding an aircraft (it is prohibited to carry liquids, firearms, bladed weapons or toy weapons, knives, scissors, flammable substances, hazardous materials, etc.). Such items will be confiscated by the appropriate authorities.
To facilitate security checks, it is recommended to avoid bringing bags, backpacks, or other bulky items.
Participants are required to adhere to the organized schedule throughout the visit
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
By registering to visit Sibiu International Airport, legal guardians of minors, parents/guardians, and accompanying adults declare and consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. Furthermore, consent is hereby given for the processing, by Sibiu International Airport as well as by another authorized controller, of the following personal data of the minor under guardianship: first and last name, CNP, ID card series/number, hereinafter referred to as “Data,” by automated and/or manual means, for the entire duration necessary to achieve the purposes of processing personal data.
TRANSPORT TO/FROM THE AIRPORT
Transportation to and from Sibiu International Airport is the responsibility of visitors. Groups participating in this program must indicate on the registration form the mode of transportation used to travel to and from the airport. School minibuses are exempt from paying the parking fee. Private vehicles are subject to the parking fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Sibiu International Airport reserves the right to cancel scheduled tours in whole or in part in the event of emergencies or operational requirements that could not have been foreseen by the scheduled date, as well as in the event of adverse weather conditions.
AGREEMENT ON THE USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO MATERIAL
By registering to visit Sibiu International Airport, participants consent to the subsequent use of photos and videos taken during organized visits to Sibiu International Airport. The materials will be used to promote the airport’s activities through its communication channels. Participation requires strict compliance with all the provisions set forth in this section.i.
